Introducing a unique safety razor from YoggieBear made just for you! Our most common request is for longer handles and/or handle diameter for those of us with hands on the larger side.
It's your choice of NZ Native or Grown woods, 100% Resin or a funky Wood & Resin mix then match this with one of our four electroplated steel safety razor heads.
Resin handles are perfect for those who like to keep their razor in the shower, while wood handles are suitable for use anywhere but not stored in the shower to avoid constant humidity exposure.
Unlike disposable plastic razors, safety razors provide a closer shave with less pressure, usually requiring only one pass across the skin. This results in fewer accidents due to reduced friction and passes, leading to an overall better experience.
Although safety razors may be considered 'Old School', they are making a comeback due to their close shaving and cost-effectiveness, with blades costing around $1 each and lasting for over a week. A long-lasting razor makes for an excellent gift for the discerning man!
Material: Wood or resin of your choice
Origin: Hand-crafted in Whanganui-a-tara (Wellington) with overseas metal fittings
Length: minimum 11cm total length, maximum 15cm, head 4cm x 2.5cm
Diameter: Usually 1-2cm but altered to your choice.
Blades: Standard double sided, we recommend Parker or Feather platinum blades
